Tortilla Faces and Sunglasses - 1-31-22

What's up everyone! This was a really great week, but it was also pretty average. I guess it's good that average weeks are awesome! Anyway, the most important thing this week is that we got a new ward mission leader and he's really been working hard to make improvements and see how the ward can help us out better.

Lunt and I have had a lot of fun teaching the English 1 class for French speakers. I don't know a lick of French but everyone is still so nice and it's so fun. Maybe I'll learn French now, I don't know hehe.
It was really hard to get a hold of Cora, one of our friends this week, but we thought about it and found a new strategy that works. She's also been really busy starting school, work, and such but luckily we were able to meet with her this Saturday! We had a really good lesson/conversation with her and her husband and the questions they have about missionaries and our church.
Anyway, the spiritual thought of the week:
D&C 6:36-
Look unto me in every thought; doubt not, fear not

What if we looked to the Lord for everything we did and everything we thought? I personally would be much braver and confident in talking to people. I wouldn't fear doing things the Lord asked of me. Well, this is something that I've been working on this week and will continue to work on. I know that letting the Lord into your life will bless you immensely not only with confidence but with happiness, I've already seen it in this past week. He will never lead you astray. Through hard times and choices, if you look unto Him, he will lead you by hand and give you the answer to your prayers. I invite y'all to make a consistent effort to look unto the Lord. After all, He is our all knowing Father, and whether we like it or not, He knows what's best. Why would we not want to get advice from someone who's all-knowing?
