It finally happened

Well guys, I feel accomplished. I finally dewormed some goats. I wish we had better pictures of us and a video of us tackling goats to the ground, but we haven't gotten them yet. So, a bad picture will have to suffice.
CANTALOUPE- This sweet lady at one of our services gave us a cantaloupe/honey dew mixed fruit thingy and it was so yummy. Reminds me a a joke Sister Liechty always says.
Two melons were in love, and one said to the other "hey, I love you so much, let's just run away together right now and get married." But the other one said "I'm sorry...I Cantaloupe."
Badum pushh. I hope you liked that one
Badum pushh. I hope you liked that oneJUDY- We asked our friend Judy about baptism and she would love to be baptized! She has a long road ahead of her but we're grateful we have a goal to help lead us ahead for her. Satan's been making it hard on her, but she's continuing to keep her commitments. Woohoo!
110°- Yes, it reached up to 110 degrees out here, but it felt like 200
most everyday has been in the 100s this week which was a real trial. There were a couple of days where we were encouraged to only be outside for a few minutes at a time. This makes missionary work hard. Our friend Judy was really concerned for us. She had heard people passing out when they got in their cars because it was so hot. Our Mission grandma, Grandma Grace, even bought us waterbottles to help us stay hydrated. What a sweet little thing that was. I'd been wanting a new waterbottle for a while and here it was. Thought the heat I've felt the love of a lot of people and that makes me so happy.

But you don't understand, she's a baker, so these waffles were insanely delicious. Homemade whipped cream and everything. After dinner, the whole family put on a little show of their favorite things which was so cute. We got to see a collection of Rubiks cubes, both of their game closets, a lightsaber, and many crocheted toys and blankets their mom had made. It was awesome.
WE LIFT HEAVY THINGS- we helped a lady move things from her pod into her garage which seems like lightwork except it was so hot. I went through four waterbottles, which is really unlike me. (Even though I know I should hydrate more) Anyway, that was something I hadn't done for a while, it was refreshing to do that type of service again.
(no picture captions were sent with the email, so just enjoy looking at the pics)

I was a little spoiled haha

!! So I got to play, that was so kind of them. Boy, did it take me back. Sadly didn't get pictures :((((

) We even got permission to stay and watch a few fireworks, but what happened was the first firework that went of fell over and started a fire on the ground. That was all fine and dandy because the Smiths were ready for that with a hose. BUT, what they weren't ready for was a flame hopping the fence and starting a fire in the field. They had to take their little four wheeler thing with a water jug on back all the way around their property and through the fence, all the way back to where the fire was. When Brother Smith got there all we see is him looking around very confused. Out of nowhere Sister Smith, who is not a young lady, comes running and hollering through the field with the hose. Oh boy was that a scene. But no worries! The fire was put out haha
