 Spring Fling country vibes

I thought I'd switch it up a little bit and start with my spiritual thought just in case no one makes it far enough into my emails. At least they'll get the good part first. 

ZONE CONFERENCE-This was President and Sister Chapmans last Zone Conference :( that being said, it was such a great note to end on. Sister Liechty and I became so fired up! Things that stood out to me was to remember who we are and why we're out here. Also, to always ask myself "what more can I do for you today Lord?" Missionary work is such a joy, I absolutely love it even though it's sometimes hard. As I continue learning about the gospel, I can feel it changing me. It reminds me of a quote in Preach My Gospel that says "The study of the gospel will improve behavior quicker than a study of behavior will improve behavior." -President Boyd K. Packer 

I believe it. If we let it, the gospel can change our lives, that's honestly what us missionaries are here to do. We're here to declare repentance, which isn't scary but exciting! My invitation: let this gospel change you! Put in the work and experiment if it can actually change you and make you happier. 

SPRING FLING AND JO: 

Our friend Jo came to our Wards Spring Fling party which was awesome! We were able to give her a chapel tour with some of our members before it started. Then there were tug of war games, potato sack races, and obstacle course games, it was so fun! She couldn't make it to church, but we believe this was a big step for her yay!!

CHURCH: We'll, it was such a surprise for us missionaries when we got to church and our Bishop asked us to bear our testimonies at the pulpit. It wasn't my first time so I was okay. Us missionaries get lots of opportunities to speak. Next week we'll be teaching 2nd hour as well. Anyway, our member friend Sarah brought her friend Amber to church today! And they sat with us through sacrament and young women's! The members here are so missionary minded, it just fills my heart 

FURNITURE: We got desks! I don't have to study on the floor anymore yay! And also, I didn't mess up when building them!!  

Also, I'm currently sitting on a dock fun fact. We're spending the day in Bowie and there's a lake
