Watauga ๐Ÿ”œ Decataur!!

 Watauga ๐Ÿ”œ Decataur!!

So yes, I'm leaving my baby area and going to Decataur TX, which is apparently a pretty small town by the Oklahoma border. ~7,000 people live there, whatever that means. After 6 months I've really accumulated a lot, pray for me that I'll get packed in time for transfers this Wednesday ๐Ÿ™

Anyway, let's talk about my last week in Watauga....

SAYING GOODBYE: I'm actually really grateful that I sort of knew that I was leaving, it gave me the chance to say goodbye to some of my favorite people. Already last week, I practically said goodbye to Connie, Carla, and Janie some of my favorite ol ladies. pics provided below

MOTHER'S DAY MIRACLES: There have been so many small mercies these last few weeks, just so you're not reading a novel, here's some from just one day. So, first off, Deborah came to church and she loved it! Especially the mothers day food 2nd hour. Plus, she's been watching the Book of Mormon videos and she really likes them.  Then, we got a random call from Samantha, someone I hadn't heard from since the beginning of my 2nd transfer out here, and guess what! She wanted to go to church today as well, which was so random. I remembered we tried so many different things in the past to help her get to church but nothing worked, that's part of the reason we focused our attention away from her, but it seems some distance has done her some good because she called us and actually came to church so woo hoo!

This isn't a Mothers Day miracle but something really neat is that we had no members filled up on our meal calendar this week and yet we were fed everyday! Our members really pulled through as they always do.

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:

1 Nephi 4:6
And I was led by the Spirit, not knowing beforehand the things which I should do

Well, that pretty much sums it up. I'm walking by faith all the way to Decataur. I'm so thankful I have one of the best guides, the Holy Spirit, to direct me for good. When I follow Christ and the Prophet and President Chapman, I can never be led astray. So I'll go where you want me to go Dear Lord :))
