Long week, highest streak 🔥11

Long week, highest streak 🔥11

Because we went to the temple on Saturday, we had to move our Pday and we didn't have a pday for 11 days. It will probably be my longest streak of my whole mission, but just in case, I'm keeping track hehe. Anyway, let's get down to business, here it is:

INTERVIEWS:
We had interviews with President Chapman this week which I think was perfectly timed with my 11 day no pday streak. It gave me the encouragement and motivation to get through the rest of the week. We got to watch The Lamb of God  for Easter. I loved Peter in it, and I definitely recommend. After my interview, everyone went to the family history center and I got some one on one time with Sister Chapman...I might be considering BYU and BYUIdaho now? I love my President and Sister Chapman and I'm so thankful for them.

HOLY WEEK: what a week! I hope everyone got the chance to celebrate Holy Week somehow! Holy Week for us was some fun Facebook work! I'm not good at social media- before my mission I didn't even have facebook- and now I'm practically faking it til I'm making it pro style. It's a fun adventure and definitely stretching me.

🌟THE TEMPLE🌟: We got to go to the temple!! The perfect way to end my 11 day streak of insanity :))) I'm so thankful for Sister Cooper who was willing to wake up and pick us up before 7! What a sacrifice! And then, was willing to say, let me know when you wanna go again! Also, if you've been following along, she's also the member who gave us the red Christmas mat back in December, seriously just the sweetest person ever and she's taking care of us missionaries very well.

PECKLEBALL: soo, I might have made a pday mistake. After the temple, we played pickleball all day. And, I am fried. 👍🙃 I don't usually get burned, but then again I haven't been outside for a whole day in a long while. I hope it doesn't tan or ill have a janky missionary tanline 😱

EASTER SPIRIT: Do you understand that we're celebrating the literal greatest thing that's ever been done? The single act that has saved all of humanity? The single greatest act of love and mercy? The only perfect person who did not deserve any punishment, went and suffered all. Its incomprehensible. The agony He went through, and His willingness. Why? How often do you forget Christ's love for you? His faith in you? His hope for you? Please don't forget Him. Because when we forget Him, we forget ourselves. The only perfect way to see ourselves is how Christ, with His perfect vision, has seen us. We are children of God worthy enough to suffer for. Worthy enough to die for. Worthy enough to save.

Ahhhh also, I forgot to inform everyone about this important information! My grandma's jerky finally arrived and it's as good as ever :)))
our cute STLs came and gave us an Easter gift!

okay this is a long explanation. Sister Roy is the best. She didn't know anything about us moving Pdays or anything. We were super low on food coming Monday when we had no pday and so we thought we'd have to go to the store, but Sister Roy texted and said she was going shopping for us. We texted her four things that we needed, but no, she comes back with a car full of things!! This is a pic with her, even though i look weird.

took a ride down memory lane hehe

here's the goods from Sister Roy #blessed

we eat burgers again

we eat tacos
